Old Rabbit Art Gallery opens its doors every second Friday for the monthly neighborhood art stroll in Castleberry Hill. The community has grown accustomed to seeing work set against the gallery’s standard white cube design. Our intention was to transform the space into a storefront that transported visitors as soon as they stepped through the door. The brick red accent wall is an intentionally bold choice that complements the clay theme of the exhibition.

Opposite the red wall is a twig installation composed of limbs from the crepe myrtle tree. The twigs are painted black to create a striking but simple abstract wall piece. The front window display uses pedestals of varying heights along with a faux stone coffee table crafted by Kenniese Franklin of Spatial Therapy.
